Classrooms become the latest COVID-19 casualty

As a life-long evangelist for education reform and a former teacher, I find myself wondering whether our students will discover what many of us secretly fear: that the classroom isn’t really necessary for learning. DIGITAL PATHWAYS INITIATIVE (DPI)

WHAT IS DPI?

The Digital Pathways Initiative (DPI)  announces the formation of a new team to launch a STEAMS Summer Bridge Program 2020 that will offer Connected Cloud Campus to Virtual Hollywood employment through hands-on technical instruction and project-based learning using the latest digital technology to create original content. Students will discover their innate artistic abilities while learning professional media applications that will help them secure sought-after jobs in entertainment.  Our goal is to identify Rock Stars & Super Stars for precise placement in the creative-tech economy with living wages, and embedded with executive-level training for potential start-up capabilities.

WHO WE’VE INVITED TO BE INVOLVED?

We’re in discussion with prospective partners: La Mer Walker, Valence, Cory Davis, Submittable, Lael Alexander Noitavonne, Kecia Washintion, LADWP, Lincoln Stephens, The Marcus Graham Project , and Ming Tai, Art Center Designabout accelerating the launch  for June, 2020 and our planned destinations for our first cohort are, CES  2021 and  Mobil World Congress Barcelona 2021.

Dakar propelled by AT&T Aspire , and the CSUEA is committed to driving innovation  education to the masses. We’re in discussion to pitch a business- case for bringing a cohort of students to engage Warner Media in a proposed internal COVD-19 Response Campaign.
