The meeting kicked off with entertainment from CSULA’s amazing student band Mariachi Águila de Oro representing just some of the incredible diversity of CSU student talent. The afternoon panel discussions focused on emerging industry trends and how course and career development standards could best meet those trends.

  • THE INDUSTRY: The multi-billion dollar entertainment arts and media industry is “headquartered” in California but is one of the most competitive and global of industries, with huge overseas markets and an economic and cultural impact on people in practically every corner of the globe.
  • CSUEA PROGRAMS: provide much needed support to the student campus to career journey through invaluable learning, career development, professional work and networking experiences while also removing some financial and structural barriers CSU students sometimes face getting “a foot in the door” to these ultra-competitive fields.
