Dakar Foundation’s participation in GSMA North America provided a disruptive creative-tech point of view from selected mentors who have something to say about the Los Angeles County media-& sports-entertainment mentorship landscape. Dakar empaneled five such mentors for the second installment of ” When Worlds Collide” )WWC), Los Angeles County is the ideal geography to unveil and convene a discussion on the latest innovations and convergence of 5G, Media & Entertainment and the Green Energy Systems that will power them, yet COVID-19 created a shift to an all virtual experience that allowed us to network with many more stakeholders in the rapid shift to using 5G and innovation for workforce development.

WWC Vol. 2 explored how next generation computing can enable Green-Tech economies in SOCAL to better support the next generation of industry leaders in cost-cutting-energy, cyber-security, and first responder systems by developing qualified candidates for internships, entry-level opportunities, and startup capital for new business models in the sector(s).
