The TechaThon Media Festival & Music Channel (TMFMC) will launch inside of the LongBeach Indie Festival that will feature workshops, panels, music showcases and one-of-a kind industry leader conversations, facilitated by Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe, Directors Guild of America, ALMA and NAACP Image Award winners, nominees, alongside international scholars.
The TMFMC will cover LIVE, the valuable dialogue between the entertainment industry and the academic community, while also exposing young adults to first-hand accounts of what careers in arts and entertainment really entail.
Hosted in collaboration with LA High Tech The k-16 Media Techathon/Media Festival and Career Fair exposes young people (ages 13-24) to options in higher education and careers in arts, entertainment, and STEM-related fields. The event includes corporate and college exhibitors, workshops, panels, and inspirational speakers.
Such esteemed exhibitors as Cal Arts, Brooks Institute of Photography and Film, and UCLA (Entertainment and Music Industry Studies), Santa Fe College of Art and Design, Dordt College, University of the Pacific, School of the Art Insitute of Chicago,Columbia College-Hollywood, Columbia College-Chicago, Miami Ad School, SAE Institute, NewSchool of Architecture, Otis College of Art and Design, Relativity Film School, have been solicited, check back later this season for conference updates.
