Big thanks and hooah to Ret. Brigadier General Arnold Gordon Bray for hosting the Nov. 10th Dakar and Brotherhood Crusade Learn and Serve webinar via zoom and at their Crenshaw offices. This was the first in a series of workshops to expose candidates from South LA to a Digital Media Apprenticeship program being launched by Dakar (DPI), featuring independent living, rehabilitation, and digital media tactics and techniques. Stay tuned for the next session leading to Black History Month 2023, and Happy Veterans Day .
We also want to thank Renai Browne, Terrence Coles, Shoni Monet Doe, Leo Hill, Torrance Brannson, Damone Williams and all of the scholars who took time out in person and on Zoom to pay homage to the spirit of “Service and Sacrifice aka “Blood & Treasure. Please stay connected as we string together memories and moments from tomorrow’s exchange with Veterans from different post in Los Angeles.
