What is Conference as Curriculum?
CAC is a pilot project designed to help students capitalize on academic and professional conferences as sites for extending and individualizing the Dakar Foundation curriculum to deepen learning and strengthen expertise. With CAC, students will learn how to harness the cutting-edge research, trends, and practices presented by world-class researchers and scholar-practitioners to gain proficiency in topics that are not included in the Dakar curriculum.
How is Conference as Curriculum innovative?
Dakar Foundation penetrates professional conferences through our press affiliation and press credentials that provide all-access to industry-insider networking, and supporting conference attendance. We have harnessed academic and professional conferences for deep content-based learning. CAC goes beyond inviting expert speakers to the classroom; Conference as Curriculum empowers students to chart their own curriculum within their subfield of interest and interact with the experts directly.
