As I’ve attended the 10th annual UCLA PULSE conference, Friday February 8th, I asked myself why there shouldn’t there be a standing room only audience, because this event was stacked from beginning to end with forecasting the next big next in Entertainment, sports, and marketing-advertising. Jay Tucker and April Barfield put on a show worthy of broadcast and possible syndication to anyone trying to figure out where all of us are going as provider and consumers on digital content.
The success of Crazy Rich Asians and other films this year helped jump over the tipping point for Hollywood to say: Ok there’s significant revenue to be made here. Panel with John Penotti, #CrazyRichAsians producer #UCLApulse UCLA Pulse pic.twitter.com/r6IdmHq5pO

Jeff Katzenberg’s Quibi focuses on premium long form content delivered via bite-size 5-7 minute pieces for mobile phones 7a-7p, targeted to age 25-35. More $ prod.value than YouTube, Snap, IG. Shorter than Netflix, Hulu. It will not be ad supported like social media. #UCLApulse pic.twitter.com/DmP7AwiUUx

We hear about diversity but we rarely hear about disability. Say the word. Disability. We’re ok with it. Think about disability and inclusion.
