AMC-Marina Del Rey
I just viewed a private screening of the new release Till, and the raw emotions run everywhere. I sat with a new friend who gripped my hand halfway through and never let go until the end. The aftermath left me groping for answers, like where is this bit of “horror in our history textbooks. Where is the outcry for restorative justice. Have we learned anything?
MEET EMMETT TILL – The Movie. from 55TillNow on Vimeo.
I believe this History meets Hollywood may be the only way to take the woken to another level of transactions to insure that this footnote in our countries is not washed-over and forgotten yet like so many more atrocities of of hatred and ambivalence. Please see this movie, and dammit, research the facts. “History is not the past, it’s not even the present, it’s the future unrealized.”

I am so sorry Breana Taylor & Emit Till. That your murderers were able to get away scot FREE on the same day 65 years apart. Sept 23rd 1955 & Sept 23rd 2020. I’m so sorry that the world has only adapted just to cultivate for a modern day slave system. #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor pic.twitter.com/sEtPpm68YT
