UNIDOS US, the largest Latino civil rights organization in the United States, previously known as NCLR (National Council of La Raza) was in town Friday to coalition an emerging yet still small numbers of LatinX workforce community to become more activist in onboarding new apprenticeship programs in non traditional apprenticeships as well as expose candidates to pre-apprenticeship ladders.
Through their combination of research, advocacy, programs, and a national network of nearly 300 community-based Affiliate organizations across the country, UNIDOS US, simultaneously challenge the social, economic, and political barriers that affect Latinos in the United States across a range of key issues.
