Group Exercise Class Descriptions

RIPPED – A total body workout by requiring the body to respond to constantly be changing format and offers ultimate results in minimal time. RIPPED will improve your cardiovascular endurance, overall muscular endurance, muscle tone and definition, build core strength and intrinsic tensile strength, and build lean body/fat mass ratio.

Cycling – Don’t be afraid. You’ve been riding a bike since you were 5! Join us in the cycling studio for a fun-packed, energy-packed, non-impact ride. You’ll burn 400-600 calories during this upbeat, musical journey of flats, hills, jumps, and sprints. (Call to reserve your bike!).

Power UP-  A stronger, leaner body is right at your fingertips! In Power Up, you will isolate and challenge every muscle group using weights, balls, and barbells to the beat of energizing music.  This is a total body workout building strength, lean muscle, and core stability.

Power & Burn – This class takes the strength building you love in Power Up and adds short bursts of cardio to increase that calorie burn. Every three to five minute strength block is followed by two minutes of cardio bursts designed to challenge every fitness level. Each circuit ends with a recovery round of abs. You could burn four hundred calories or more

Silver Circuit – For our mature exercisers, this 45 minute total body conditioning class combines fun and fitness as it increases muscular strength, endurance, range of movement, and balance.

Zumba – (Latin and International music) Dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

Power Yoga(Vinyasa) – A Vinyasa yoga class that includes breath-synchronized movement in a vigorous, athletic style of practice with intense stretching in order to sweat out the toxins in your body. YRT 200 certified instructor. Bring a yoga mat and towel.

Silver Yoga – For the mature exercisers, this 45-minute class is for those who have challenges with their flexibility and balance. It is a very gentle class that allows stretching the hips, legs, chest, back, shoulders, neck, and other areas where tightness occurs. With the use of the chair, and stability balls this class will help strengthen the core allowing a more stable and strong you.

Power Step- Come rediscover why this classic workout has been so effective for decades!  The use of an adjustable step platform provides a non-impact (easy on the joints) workout that challenges your cardiovascular system and strengthens all of the muscles in the lower body, all with simple, easy to follow steps.  Upper body and core exercises will round out the class for a total body workout. 

HIIT- (High intensity interval training) Rev up your metabolism in this fat-burning class! We will utilize the latest research and perform tabata intervals along with circuit training to achieve maximum fitness in minimal time.  All exercises will be presented with modifications and variations to accommodate every fitness level. 

TRX Bootcamp- “Make your body your machine!” You will quickly understand the meaning as you experience functional, multi-planar, bodyweight based exercises using this incredibly versatile training tool.  This fact-paced, high-energy boot camp will take you through a progression of simple to advanced exercises, so consistency and a strong fitness base is highly recommended.  Cardio intervals will be included in between sets using the TRX, hand weights, equalizers, and BOSUs.

Total Body- An invigorating combination of strength, cardio, and core to start your day off right! Boot camp style formats keep your workouts varied and exciting.  This class utilizes weights, bands, balls, and body weight and is suitable for all fitness levels. 

Sandbell Power- No matter what moves you’re making, the sandbell moves right along with you.  The active, shifting movement of the sand challenges stabilizing muscles in your core.  When working out with the sandbell, you will engage hand and wrist gripping muscles that are typically not activated and strengthened.  These soft, sand-filled bags can be curled like dumbbells, tossed like medicine balls, swung like kettlebells, and glided like discs.  Bust-proof, they can be slammed to the floor, making them a great stress reliever. 

Fitness 5- This class format includes 5 fitness cycles each lasting approx. 8-10 minutes.  Each segment will utilize a different fitness tool (sandbells, BOSU, weights, TRX, etc.) providing a total body workout guaranteed to increase strength, stamina, and torch calories! The variety of tools used and cycles presented will prevent boredom and add variety and new challenges to the body each week.  All exercises will be presented with variations to accommodate every fitness level.
