Speakassyria was launched on May 15th, 2007, to provide a website for young Assyrians to gather information about Assyrian religion and history, to read some articles of interest, and to have the option to participate on a forum where exchange of news and information is free from fear, intolerance, prejudice, and disrespect.

The Assyrian women’s menu, once completed, will enable young Assyrian women to view articles dedicated to Assyrian female issues. They may include articles on women’s health, education, and welfare, or other topics of interest that will benefit young Assyrian women.
The Religion and History menu will include information on Assyrian religion, culture, and identity.
The Learn Assyrian menu is being developed to enable young Assyrians to learn the Assyrian alphabet, and basic skills with which to form simple Assyrian phrases.
The Assyrian nation is currently under attack by various enemies from within as well as from without the Assyrian global community. There are many issues at stake, and working to preserve our culture, heritage, and identity is a monumental task, but it can be done if we each do our share and work together to achieve the essential national goals.
Our focus should be to obtain an Assyrian national territory, in which an Assyrian government can be formed, in order to oversee the repatriation of our Assyrian refugees back to our homeland, and a national Assyrian army formed to secure our people’s safety, interests, and future.
Our venerable scholar, poet, teacher, Rabi William Daniel, left the following question to every Assyrian, (past, present, and future):
